Suggest Remedy For Tear On Frenulum Causing Painful Intercourse

I have small tear on my frenulum, which I ve had for about two weeks. I m not sure how it happened, and it doesn t look like much, but it is painful during sex (stinging, like a paper cut). What action should I take (other than not having sex). I ve read getting Vitamin C & eating Fruit will help tears heal, and applying anti-biotic cream will help. Are any of these decent ideas? I ve read some horror stories online about it not healing for 7 years, 6 months etc. - I m hoping for a much quicker turnaround than this... how long would you expect it to take to heal? It s been very frustrating for myself and my girlfriend.
