Suggest Remedy For Urinary Infection

Hi doctor,I am 29 yrs old male. 4 months ago I had developed a urine infection with symptoms like frequent urination, burning and a yellow pus like discharge from the tip of my penis. I was and still am sexually inactive. i was treated with norfloxacin 400mg first and did not show much improvement was ref to urologist and he put me on cital syrup and nitrofurontinon 100mg for 15 days upon which the symptoms subsided and the condition as cured. no tests were done during or after the treatment.however just a week ago i had similar symptoms and hence my urologist advised for urine routine test, the results showed pus cells present heavily, RBC 4-5/hpf and epithelial cells 1-2/hpf, trace of albumin was detected, however my doctor advised to continue with the same treatment like earlier till 15 days and said that i might have to take the medicines for month or so.can you please give your opinion on the matter.
