Suggest Remedy For Vaginal Spotting And Cramps While On Nexplanon

Im on the Nexplanon and Saturday I began spotting and had cramping and what seemed like a light period. Now, im having the last of it which is brown. Its not even time for my scheduled regular period. It comes every 3 months about the 21st. I just had one in October. why could this be?

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that you should not have a breakthrough spotting in between your periods while you are on Nexplanon. Surely, Nexplanon changes your menstrual pattern irregular or making periods heavier.

Thus, I would suggest you visit your Gynecologist and explain the situation to them and extract a exact diagnosis after physical examination.
