Suggest Remedy For Weak Uterus Lining For Conceiving
Hi , Actually me & my wife are planning for a baby but even after two three months , not able to conceive. We have consulted a local doctor she said that the lining of the uterus are quite weak. request you to please suggest some treatment or way forward . In addition please revert whether Shall I go for any test or not.
I understand by weak uterine lining (endometrium) that your wife's endometrium is thin. Endometrium of thickness between 09 mm to 14 mm at the time of egg release (ovulation) is most conducive for implantation of a fertilised egg. If your wife's endometrium is thinner, it will not favour the implantation of the conceptus.
Please monitor your ovulation by ultrasonography which will find both: the evidence for ovulation as well as the thickness of the endometrium at the time of ovulation. Also try to get the information about the three layers development of the endometrium.
If the endometrium is thin in spite of normal egg release, it can be built up by continuous treatment of oestriol preparation. She may have to take this treatment for about 3 months or so for endometrial growth. Please do not attempt pregnancy till the endometrium is well built.
Please seek for a consultation of and management from an Infertility Specialist.
I hope this should offer you some initial guidelines.
