Suggest Remedy For White Gunk And Tear In Tongue Due To Biting
my daughter bit her tongue quite severely, it was very swollen for a couple days and the frenulum has torn so it appears that there is a gaping slit underneath. there is also a lot of whitish discharge or build up underneath. the swelling has reduced, but the white gunk and tear are still the same.

It is the slough which is visible as white material. If there is a tear which cannot heal itself, I would like to suggest you to go for suturing. So, If I would be your treating doctor I would first clean your infection and do secondary suturing after some time. All the best.
