Suggest Remedy For Wound In The Hand Caused By Scratching
hi, there is a stray cat near my home and i use to play with here, but at night she scratched my hand like 3mm with negligible bleeding. My question is shall I go for rabipur Injection as I cannot keep a regular watch over that cat, although she seems to be fine as she does not look sick or any other thing. Please guide.
I can understand your concern for wound in the hand caused by scratching. In your kind of cases it is quite important to take a full course of Anti-rabies injection as per the schedule. Simultaneously it is quite important to treat the scratched area. Wash the area gently and apply an antibiotic cream over the affected area for two times. I also suggest you to take tetanus toxoid injection if not taken in last 1 year period. Do not try to pull or further touch the injured area as can get secondarily infected. All the best.
