Dear Valens, welcome to HCM. We understand your concern. I have read your query carefully and now I will try my best to answer it.
It appears that you are having guilt of indulging in act of masturbation. Although culturally it is a prohibited act in many societies, modern medicine considers this as a norm. There is a prevailing myth in societies that masturbation causes sexual, physical and mental weakness. But this is not true. Actually due to prevailing belief we consider it a condemned act and feel guilt after doing it. We gradually develop anxiety related to side effects of it. An anxious mind distorts many neutral experiences as ill effects like- after masturbatory orgasm when body relaxes, we consider it as weakness. Later on we start relating many things to this. Thus anxiety gives rise to many bodily symptoms like various aches & pains, sense of weakness, tremors, dryness of mouth and throat, increased sweating, palpitations, breathlessness and sexual dysfunction. You are already experiencing many of the above mentioned symptoms because of this negative emotions of guilt and anxiety.
I assure you that there is no harm to body or mind due to masturbation.

Yes, excess of anything should be avoided. If you feel that you are unable to control you habit of masturbation and now feel addicted to it, then you may take help of a psychiatrist who may advise you few medicines and/or psychotherapy for few weeks/months for cure.
I hope it answers your question. I wish you all the best.
