Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Her weight is inadequate for her age. This can be from underlying kidney disease, inadequate diet intake, recurring infections or anemia. We need few more details to see what is the major contributor here- her diet chart, few blood tests(Blood routine with ESR, creatinine, sodium, potassium), her height, and history of any significant illnesses like pneumonia or diarrhea in the past. Kindly get back to us with details or discuss with your pediatrician. Meanwhile, try increasing frequency of feeds, add sugar / oils to the diet and give fruits and vegetables.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
