Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a long test tomorrow and it will be really quiet in the class, and everyday I have bubble guts. It s pretty embarrassing because everyone hears it. Then I end up getting really anxious and nervous and start sweating and I can t focus. What s a way to quickly prevent or stop bubble guts in class or in public?
Stomach bloating or gas trouble is caused mainly because of air swallowing known as erophagia.
The other causes are irritable bowel syndrome, dyspepsia, constipation ,celiac disease, sprue, bowel obstruction etc but they must be ruled out by clinical examinaction and various lab investigations.
You should start some medication like 1)proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole), 2)avoid excess carbohydrates and fatty foods, 3)avoid oily and spicy foods, 4)Do regular exercises,
If you still have these problems then u should see gastroenterologist to treat underlying cause.
