Suggest Remedy To Stop Vomiting In Elderly

Hello Doctor My grandmother is 80 years old, in a begining of this month she had suffer with dhyrea but after treatment she felt fine but from yesterday she suffering from vomiting and no itake. Even if she drinks water, she feels like vomitting ot vomits it. Please guide what we should do?

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist.

If She is unable to drink water I will suggest you to take her to ER, where She will be given some antiemetic and iv fluids. She will be evaluated for the same in form of some blood tests and may be endoscopy examination
