hi .my daughter 6 years got an acute tonislitis 1/5/2014.take AB I.M with no use ASOT=2305, CRP HIGH, AST=77, ALT=81 STOP MEDICATION TO REST LIVER AFTER 3 WEAKS ASOT=2000 , LIVER FUNCTION = NORMAL start with penicillin L.A IM 1.2 with zithromax900 m l /12 hour (5ml) then another dose penicillin after 2 weaks ASOT=1000 . heart echo= good. no signs for rheumatic fever 7/7/2014 ASOT=916 CRP=0.48 ESR= 15 ??? , 33 IN 2ND HOUR EBV, CMV IGG IGM = NEGATIVE is this a rheumatic fever ( high ASOT, ESR)??? WHAT ABOUT ASPRIN FOR HER AGE ( HAS SHE TO TAKE IT 4 INFLAMATION ) HAS SHE 2 TAKE PENCILLIN TILL AGE OF 20 ??? THANKS

how is kid now? is she having breathing difficulty?is there joint pain ? if kid fine now and have not symptoms mentioned above, she is not suffering from rhematic fever. on what basis he was underwent for 2d echo? ASOT will be high in all tonsillits. in my view no treatment is needed if baby has no symptoms
