Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Seroquel (quetiapine) is an antipsychotic. I usually does not cause dependence. But you have mentioned that you are having withdrawal symptoms due to seroquel.
I would advice you to switch to an sustained release preparation first if you taking an immediate release preparation.
Then the gradual tapering of dose is required. Reduce by 50mg every every week under your doctor's supervision. Donot go cold turkey.
This drug has side effects of weight gain, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia.
You would need life style modifications for that like avoiding fatty food, daily exercises.
Also get you blood sugar checked.
Hope this helps.
