Suggest Side Effects Of Waysolone 20mg For Neck Swelling

my father has undergone full thyroid surgery.then he underwent radiation therapy for 30 days.he was having cough and swelling in his neck.so he has taken waysolone 20mg twice a day for four months.without doctor consult.any remedy for this. any side effects.and remedy.

Any medicine without consultation with a doctor is not only unethical but also dangerous for health and life.
Particularly when drug is wysolone (prednisolone ) that too 20 mg .
No doubt this is a potent steroid and provide relief at once in many diseases but it is equally too dangerous and causes may side effects .
These are water retention , calcium reabsorption ( osteoporosis ) weakness of bones , nausea, fractures , glaucoma ( in elderly )hyper glycemia , increased obesity and many more side effects.
I recommend you get a consultation from a physician and get his opinion regarding treatment for neck swelling .
Particularly your father took radiation therapy , while wysolone also LOWERS IMMUNITY.
