Hello thanks for asking from HCM

A lot of symptoms of Panic Attack present as if patient had myocardial infarction or heart attack. But if Chest X rays and ECG come normal then most likely heart attack has been ruled out. He is having these breathing problems since last 2-3 weeks and heart problems has been ruled out. Other possibility for breathing difficulty and his fear that he is not getting satisfying breath is panic attack or can be hyperventilation syndrome. Both situations are psychological and I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist. Proper breathing training and breathing exercises will help to improve the condition.
In some people short term use of anti-anxity drugs like low dose benzodiazepines like Etizolam, Lorazepam is advised. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
