Speaking to a doctor may be overkill here. But here it goes. I am a 25 year old male. In high school/college, I trained in several power sports where through weight room and sprinting, kalisthenic excercises, developed a lot of large, powerful muscle tissue. Since, I have let myself go a bit, and now have developed a large midsection to go with all the muscle. I would like to find a strength and fitness routine that will not increase my size but will allow me to slim down. Caveat: in my experience cardio alone does not slim people down in comparison to strength training. Any ideas?
