Suggest Strength And Fitness Routine That Slims The Body Structure

Speaking to a doctor may be overkill here. But here it goes. I am a 25 year old male. In high school/college, I trained in several power sports where through weight room and sprinting, kalisthenic excercises, developed a lot of large, powerful muscle tissue. Since, I have let myself go a bit, and now have developed a large midsection to go with all the muscle. I would like to find a strength and fitness routine that will not increase my size but will allow me to slim down. Caveat: in my experience cardio alone does not slim people down in comparison to strength training. Any ideas?

a perfect plan of cardio,strength training along with well balanced diet will definitely help you..
required quantities of proteins is the major requirement,take complex carbohydrates, avoid refined foods, good sleep etc is the advise from me as a doctor
take the help of a fitness trainer for workout plan
