Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does it seem strange to ask a medical question from a Dr. whose last name is Grief? Nah...anyway, My husband is 73 years old and suffers from heart disease and kidney disease, CHF, and pre diabetic. For the past 2 years I have been reading up on different things that could make these conditions better or worse, depending on the source of my inquiries. I have eliminated meat from our diet, and as many dairy products as he will let me get away with. I read this morning that fish oil could be a worsening factor for the kidney disease. Do you have any information on that? Also, I read that bananas could be a problem...he eats one a day. Thank you... Kathy Rothchild
