Suggest Suitable Medication For Thyroid Gland Disorder

Hello ,

I use Carbimezole for overactive thyroid gland disorder and I wanted to buy day after pill in the pharmacy but was refused, I did some reading on the internet and did not find anything about not being able to use it.

Please advice as I’m a bit worried.

Kind Regards,

Vaida

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have overactive thyroid. You need anti thyroid medicine like propylthiouracil, carbimazole or methimazole. You are using carbimazole. Methimazole is better then carbimazole. But these all are prescription based medicine so you have to consult your treating doctor for prescription.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
