Suggest The Cause And Medications For Breast Infection
Hi, I am a male 60 years young on wednesday,I have an infection in my right breast,Has been going for 2 years,Been operated on 5 times,full cut and drain,clyndamycin,Lincomycin drip,none now for 2 months,has burst again,yesterday,no cultures grow,all tests negative,so why does it keep coming back?Our sugeons are mystyfied,including specialist in Sydney.

Hello,
Do an ultrasound to look for any infective focus. Sometimes discharged from a duct can also cause persistent infection. An ultrasound-guided aspiration can also be tried and start antibiotics accordingly.
