Hi doctor, please suggest how should i take or how many times should i take medroxyprogesterone to prepone my periods as my marriage is next week. have not been using any contraceptive nor having any medical history. Also my last periods were on 05th oct

One week is a very sleek period and medication given for preponing period can act after 5 days to one week for starting menses. The date can not be confirmed, as it depends on individual sensitivity to drugs. You can try to postpone your period with hormonal pills. The suitable pills &dosage can be decided after actual examination and your routine menstrual pattern. Consult your gynecologist earliest.
