Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Magnesium Supplements

What is the recommended dosage for magnesium supplements I am a 65 year old woman and a week ago I went to the emergency room and it turned out I had a mag, level of 1.4. The emergency doctor gave me liquid mag through IV and told me to take supplements I am fearful of overdosing on magnesium or not getting enough I don t see the doctor for a follow-up until the 22nd thanks

You can take magnesium 300 mg per day in order to treat magnesium deficiency. You can safely use 300 mg of magnesium daily without causing an overdose.
