Suggest Therapy For Seizures

my daughter has had approx 8 collapses in her life since she was 3...she is now 6. blue veins appear around her mouth and the whole of her mouth and eyes go blue...her eyes stay open during these attacks and her eyes flicker. i was told a couple yrs ago that she has a flow murmour in her heart. last wk she had another collapse but no doctors ever seem worried about it or give me answers. this morning i insisted on seeing my daughters doctor without my daughter being there and they now want to test her for seizures...am very worried :(

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

What you are dealing with here is complex partial seizures and if the lips are turning blue then we need to rule out congenital cyanotic heart disease also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Sumanth Amperayani, Pediatrician, Pulmonology
