My baby was also having high levels of TSH when born but got normal after one & half months. Doctor, I want know that is there a permanent cure of this disease as i have been taking Thyronorme tablets (100 mcg) since i got to know about this. i am also taking regular tests of my thyroid after every 3-4 months. Please advice what i have to eat in the diet and what to avoid. Also advice anything important at this stage. Thankyou.....
All you can do to improve the situation is to correct the dose of levothyroxine until TSH is normal. The dose needed may be up to 300 mcg of Levothyroxine. Nothing else can help.
