Suggest Treatment For ADHD In A Child

I am the gandma 58 trying to raise my 12 yr old grand daughter.She has alot of problems, RAD,ADD,ADHD,ODD & maybe BI-POLAR. She is a very big gil and very developed. She likes to show what she has and is very sexualized in the way she dresses and etc. Since the age of about 5 she masturbates, only once in public that I know of, but she uses anything she van get her hands on. The corner of the sinks, the stools, animals, toilets,and etc. I am very afraid for her and don t know where else to turn.

I went through your details. I suggest you read some articles about psycho sexual stages under the head of psycho dynamic theory by Sigmund Freud. Every child has an internal urge to fondle their genitals between the ages 5 to 8. that so happens because they get unknown pleasure by handling those parts. If not controlled or punished or rewarded accordingly, the habit grow and most often it may become public offence. This is a behavior problem for sure, but not coming under ADD or ADHD or bi-polar. Now she is 12. Earlier whe was not knowing what sex is and she just fondled her genitals for pleasure. Now she knows what is sex and her sexual organs are developed. so she uses it openly because she is not controlled on that aspect by anyone. I suggest you to consult a psychologist for diagnosis and further behavior therapy.
