Suggest Treatment For ADHD

Hi doctor, my 11 year (six grader) kid has problem of laziness, dullness. He is also not attentive in his class as per his class teacher.
Kindly advise if this is due to some kind of deficiency or which tests we should go through?

Regards.

In my opinion you should get his hemoglobin, serum ferritin and thyroid tested. Children who have iron deficiency remain inattentive and dull. Thyroid deficiency may also lead to dullness and laziness. If all this turns out to be normal you may also rule out ADHD.
