Suggest Treatment For Alzheimer's Disease

My dad 84 years old is depressed , and experiances confusion, has lost a lot of weight, does not associate with anyone, forgets where he parks his car, has trouble with easy math. Part of this is his dealing with my mothers illnes, she has Alzheimers. He is becoming much worse and I am afraid he may have the same problem as her, although his symptoms have manifest differently.

I can understand your concern about your father's health.
Those symptoms of you father suggest possibility depressive disorder/dementia/hypothyrodism/delirium.
Consult psychiatrist as mental status examination as well some investigation will be needed to differentiate the above condition. treatment of treatable causes of above symptoms like depression, hypothyrodism, vitamin B 12 deficiency can easily revert the symptoms.
If it is proved to be an alzheimer's symptomsthen donepezil or mementine will help in reducing further damage. Non-pharmacological measures are much important in care of person with dementia. It is a method of changing the surrounding according to the need of patient.
