Hi, My wife(age 27) is having GERD. She started taking rabisip twice daily before meals. She took it for 3 months as prescribed by a doctor. She met the doctor again after 3 months but she had 80% relief. The doctor suggested endoscopy. then she became very anxious and She started taking proper meals and goin to gym etc and its been 3 months without taking the tablet. but the problem happens once in 10-15 days. She feels heavyness in heart, uneasyness in the upper abdomen. She is very worried as she feels that there is a problem in her heart. What should we do now. Should we go for endoscopy?
Getting endoscopy done will not be a bad idea, and don't worry baby endoscopes are available and they are not painful/irritating at all a very easy and comfortable procedure, besides that you will come to know if there is something wrong in her stomach. Yes lifestyle modification will help her. Various treatment are available both surgical and medical.
Regards
