Suggest Treatment For Morphea Spreading From Chest Towards Hip And Legs

Have been diagnosed with Morphea from a biopsy that my GP requested, am now waiting for an appointment with a dermatologist. It first appeared on my skin in one place on my left breast spreading to my underarm, within a month it had now spread to the other breast underside. Within another two weeks it has appeared on both hips and is still continuing to spread to the small of my back and now on my legs. Please can you advice me if there is anything I could do or take to restrict it spreading any more. My GP has given me a steroid cream to use once a day, but it doesn t seem to have been any help. The only other thing I have been advised is to keep it well moisturised.
