Suggest Treatment For PCOD And Delay In Periods

Dear Doctor,am 22 year old unmarried women.am suffering from PCOD,last three month i have no periods,i consult the doctor & use meparate 10 mg for 5 days daily twice.but am nt get period yet(now 15 days).Doctor says wait for two weeks.Am worried.if i have any major problem like cancer .will get period???

I have gone through your query.It is usual in PCOD to get irregular periods.A follow up ultrasound is recommended to rule out other conditions in such case.If you are over weight then loosing of around 10 % of body weight will normalize in case of PCOD.But for that metformin therapy and if that is not effective combination with lirtaglutide injection also will be needed.You can do proper dieting also.Hope this may help you.
