OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
PCOD is the commonest cause of hormonal imbalance in the reproductive age group and also, responds very well to treatment. In your case, I would ask for a complete examination by a specialist, complete hormonal profile, glucose tolerance test, urinalysis, serum DHEAS levels, AMH levels, serum Prolactin, trans-vaginal sonogram and ovulation studies. After proper evaluation of the reports, supplementation through hormones appropriately needed gives best results. along with this, maintenance of a healthy body weight, regular exercise and a good diet help a lot in correction of the menstrual irregularity. Hope this helps.
