I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I also have type 1 diabetes. I am currently taking thyroid medication, but am still suffering from several symptoms. Specifically headaches, depression, and trouble concentrating. I am very hungry most of the time, but feel bloated much of the time. Kristine
Hi Despite thyroid treatment, you are having thyroid deficiency features, that means your thyroid does is inadequate. You need to get a repeat thyroid profile done and according to this report , your doctor will titrate the drug dose. Hyperphagia ( increased appetite )is a feature of diabetes and bloating sensation in the abdomen is due to diabetic gastropathy which will be benefitted from prokinetics along with proton pump inhibitors. Consult your doctor
