Suggest Treatment For UTI And Enlarged Prostate
hello dr., i am 57 years male. i am suffering from urinary tract infection from last 2 months. my pus cells count is close to 100-120 everytime i go for it. i am having an enlarged prostrate and the size is 38cc and i am diabetic from last 6 years and my recent blood sugar [pp] level is 200. please make a daignosis of my condition?

Hello,
The urinary tract infection and the enlarged prostate are different conditions.
They need different treatments.
The urinary tract infection needs antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin to treat the infection.
The enlarged prostate needs prescription medication such as Tamsulosine to be treated.
I suggest doing the PSA level for further evaluation.
