Suggest Treatment For UTI In A 4 Months Old Child

Hello Dr, 4 month baby's pus cell range is 2 to 3 after been medicated for urinary tract infection from 15 to 20. After the infection, we changed to no diapers but only at night, she urinates frequently, feeds poorly and struggles to take fluids.. but we urge her to take fluids.. and also urinates with pain at sometimes, when will she be ok and feel no pain while urinating? Is there any way to make her take her fluids with no struggles?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
4 month old with urinary infection should now be on daily antibiotics unless it is proven that she doesn't have a reflux, has it been addressed. Kindly get back with details of scans done - Ultrasound or MCU or DMSA.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
