Suggest Treatment For UTI With Hematuria

I am a little worried as I do believe I have UTI with hematuria... I think this was caused through my being intimate with someone a day ago and the intercourse was rougher than I have had before; plus I haven t been intimate with a partner for a good few months before this. I am sore, it burns intensely when I urinate and when I wipe afterwards there is blood. I d like to hope it is just a UTI so that I can move on and go to my doctor and treat myself but I am worried that it could be something else?

Thanks for query.

You likely seem to have UTI after unprotected rough sex .

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like C ef exine along with urinary antisept ic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
