Suggest Treatment For UTI

Hi I started at a diet clinic months ago and one of the parts of the diet is i get injections of B6 once a week and then take a b6 vitamin everyday. It has been going really well no majore side effects. Ive been drinking lots of water and urinating constantly as I am supposed to be. My husband came home 2 weeks ago for leave from iraq for 14 days. Ever since then I get an occasional burning sensation towards the end of the urine stream. They tested me for a UTi yesterday and she said I was all clear, the only thing she said was my urine was pretty concentrated. Can the diueritc pills make this happen, do you think i have an std? I am freaking out.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the use of diuretics.

The diuretics can cause the concentration of the urine due to loose of liquids in the system.

I suggest you not to be worried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
