Hi, i keep getting uti s very frequently, i can usuallly feel them coming and fight them off with lots of water, vitmin c (cranberry is not readily available here) but it keeps happening so often that my sex life with my partner has diminished to almost nothing, ive had problems in the past but never this frequent, the only things that have changed since this problem presented itself are him and now instead of occasionally smoking pot i smoke almost every night, could the pot be the culprit?
Hello and welcome to HCM. You must be worried about the recurrent UTI'S. You should mention your age,if you are on other medications, and please stop smoking pot.you must get examined by a gynecologist and after local vaginal check-up, he/she will advice a urine routine and culture test to decide, if there's UTI at present.some blood tests like routine CBC, kidney functuion test, blood sugar, and an ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis should be done to know, why you're so symptomatic. After seeing the reports, proper treatment can be advised.Drink 8-10 glasses of liquids daily. Get well soon.
