Suggest Treatment For A Burn On The Foot While Running On The Roof

Hello Dr...My son is 1 yr and 4 months completed.Today while feeding he ran on the roofless upstairs in bare feet which burnt his feet.It became red and got boil in one of his foot .So I applied sesame oil and later on SilverNitrate Gel 0.2% w/w for both feet. Iam I correct in doing that ? or should I take him to child specialist?

Hi...I congratulate you for doing everything right. One thing is you should have washed with cold water as soon as the burn happened. Another advice is that if he has been vaccinated properly and up to date...you need not give him TT also. But if your did not give the 15-18 months DPT booster, I advice you to give it now.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
