Suggest Treatment For A Hard Lump Below The Calf Muscle
Hi, I am a 54 year old male in good health. I have had a soft lump at the bottom of my calf for over 5 years. Today I realized that it had become a hard lump. The size hasn t changed nor is it painful. It doesn t appear to be attached to the muscle but just below it. Thanks.
As the lump is not painful and just that it is hard I would advise you to take not water fermentation and do gentle kneading massage at the sides of the lump so the vascularization improves and the excessive waste may get moved out.
Also doing some physical exercise like toe forward walking, jumping on the toes taking the support of window or railing or table, and some reverse walking with whole foot.
Please note, if you are diabetic or any signs of high blood pressure, OA knee or back pain then you must consult the physician before the beginning of the exercise.
In my clinical practice, we provide therapeutic ultrasound therapy for reducing the hardness and teach the exercise to be done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
