Suggest Treatment For A Itchy Red Rash On The Leg

i have a bug bite I think it may be a spider bite. I had to pop it with a safety pin to get the swelling down, a yellow kind of substance came out. I ve been putting Neosporin on it as well as alcohol and peroxide. Now the swelling went down but this red rash has appeared and it s spreading on my leg and it s becoming very stiff and itchy! I m going to the clinic to soon but just wanted to know if you ve ever heard of these symptoms? And what could it possibly be?

Hello, from your history, it appears as insect bite hypersensitivity reaction with cellulitis, Since you have history suggestive of secondary infection (in the form of yellowish substance from the lesions), i would adv you a course of oral antibiotics with cap Cephalexin 500mg four times a day for 5 days, along with tab Levocetrizine 5 mg at bedtime daily, apply fucibet cream locally twice daily on the lesions.
This regimen will take care of your secondary infection, itching and irritant reaction
I hope the condition will resolve with this in 5 days.
Thanks
Take care
