Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Shin Bone After An Injury

I hit my shin bone hard, I was able to walk but when I touched the area it was really sore. It was like that for about two weeks and then pain went away and a lump appeared at the place where injury happened. What can I do to get rid of the lump. Please advice.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a contusion only.
As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
You can apply icepacks for faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
