Suggest Treatment For A Small White Bump On The Clitoris

Hello, I have had a small, white bump on my clitoral glans. It has been there for about a week, and when I first found it, it was very painful to touch. As the week has gone on, it became less painful. But today, I pulled back the hood further to check if there were any others, and there is a small cluster of little white-ish bumps. Much smaller though. It doesn t itch, and only feels irritated when I was really messing with them trying to get a good look. I am sexually active, but my partner and I have only been with each other, and are STD-free. I ve been having a bit of a panic today trying to figure out what this could be and if it s serious, and I was avoiding going to the doctors, as I am in college and in a different state than my actual gyno. Could you shed some light on what I might be dealing with?

Hello,

Small white bumps on the clitoris is indicative of fungal or bacterial infection. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene, Take bath regularly and wash your clothes in hot water frequently. You can take a course of anti-fungals orally and apply creams / ointments like Clotrimazole to the area affected.

If it is itchy you can apply a thin layer of hydrocortisone cream, it is effective. You should avoid clitoris piercing or wearing ornaments to which your skin is allergic. Do not use vibrators. Use latex free condoms and perfume free vaginal lubricants. Avoid masturbating or stimulating the clitoris for a couple of days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
