Suggest Treatment For A Stroke And Pneumonia Patient

Hi Dr.Rynne,my father had a stroke and a pheumonia a month a go and was out of the hospital but the problem is that he s not already coughing but got too much phem in he s throat we dont know what to do the doctor we have is currently out of the country.He got all this meds but nothing is working.he is 74 yrs old.everything we feed him including medicine in thrown up of his mouth.please help me,thank you!

In short: Go for physiotherapy of chest

Explanation: As the muscles become weak after stroke/in old age it is difficult to clear secretions from the chest, which causes infection. So, visit a physiotherapist for chest physiotherapy for the clearance of secretion and early cure of infection. You may go for oral/nasal gastric tube for feeding.
