Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Bloating, Fatigue And Cramps During Menstruation
I just had my period about a week ago.. everything was normal. Very light only lasted about 3-4 days. The only difference was this time I had EXTREME fatigue. Bloated, horrible cramps, which is extremely uncommon for me..anyway, so that passed everything was fine until yesterday I woke up with what felt like a uti (I ve had 2 before) but went away after a few hours once I started moving .. i took some cranberry suppliments and vitamin c throughout the day and drank lots of water just in case. I woke up again this morning and it was back to the same symptoms.. repeated my supplements and again.. once I stood up and started walking around everything felt better.. the thing is, throughout the day when I would wipe there would be tiny bright red clots (almost looked like a bunch of tadpoles), other times I would see a small clot or 2 in the toilette and it would be a light pink color when I wipe.. what is going on?? If it was a uti wouldn t it be constant and not on/off??
These are common perimenstrual symptoms and is common among young females. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like mefenamic acid for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms are severe better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
