Hello,
I can understand your concern for your symptoms.
1) Abdominal pain + pain in center part of chest + bloating + burping are suggestive of reflux. It develop due to reflux of stomach acid back into esophagus where it produce inflammation (esophagitis).
2) This condition can be confirmed with upper GI endoscopy which can also help to decide extent of disease.
3) Medication for acidity (Pantoprazole), medication for prevention of vomiting (Ondansatron), avoidance of oily, spicy, fatty content of food are helpful to treat this condition.
Breathing difficulty due to COPD is not responsible for development of gas, stomach issue.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I would be happy to help you.
Have a nice day!
