Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Loose Stool

I had a colonoscopy last April. Was hospitalized for diverticulitis for 6 days in January 2013. Within the past month I ve had what my Dr. called Colon Spasms. These are quite painful. I do not have hard or firm bowel movements, and I usually have a b.m. 2x per day. I do take 1Tb. of Optifiber mixed in water or milk daily. I am wondering if I need to change my dietary habits. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and this abdominal pain is a new thing for me.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to abdominal cramps.

I recommend using daily probiotics.

I also recommend using Buscopan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
