Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain

Hi, I woke up one day after coming home from school and felt a really dull pain in my lower abdomen, almost above my bladder. It really didn't hurt, but was uncomfortable. I slept that night, and when I woke up the pain was still there, but now it has spread up to my upper abdomen below my diaphragm. Its a gnawing/sore pain, it feels like I'm hungry, but I just ate dinner. Help please, I'm afraid it's an ulcer or something worse.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, this is not ulcer related as it has started from below region. It seems to be an intestine colic related issue, must be tackled with antispasmodic medicines, dietary care, and an ultrasound later on as per the requirement of the condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
