Suggest Treatment For Accumulation Of Waste In Intestine After Colostomy

About a year ago my mother had a colonostophy The test, not the major surgery. She was 80 years old at the time. The colon test revealed that she has a condition in her upper bowl that is like an accumulation due to constipation over the years and is common in older people. My mom s Dr. told me the name of the condition but I forgot it.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read your history and understood your concerns.
Noted the history related to your Mother, the colon test and finding of changes in the intestines due to
Chronic constipation.
There may pouches of dilatation or diverticulitis formation.
There is active or surgical treatment.
You have to watch for diet, which contains sufficient amount of fibers, give mild laxatives to keep the stool soft, enema if the X-ray shows fecoliths.
