Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux

I ve been having problems with my stomach for couple of years and my doctor kept on saying its acid reflux. I even saw a surgeon that did the upper GI and told me I have acid reflux every thing looks fine. Even when I get blood test done or some other test it comes back normal. so in February my stomach pain got worse nothing helped until I went to see the doctor in brooks found out the surgeon I saw that did the scope is not a Gastroenterologist he s just a surgeon and that Waldo County General Hospital. the doctor I saw in Brooks sent me to the NM so I believe I finally got the answer that I have Chronic Cholecysitis and some delayed filling of the Gallbladder. so my question is why did it take them this long to figure out what was really going on with my stomach?

Hello
I had gone through your question diligently and I will try to help you out in best possible way
Bloating can be related to Aerophagia ( swallowing of air) due to use of carbonated drinks, smoking ans ill fitted denture
This can also be caused by Acid reflux or indigestion and food allergy, which can be manged with certain dietary and life style modifications like Avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food or carbonated drinks
Have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables
You can take curd, cold milk or fruit juices

You should not stay hungry, have something to eat at frequent intervals because hunger increase acid production
Avoid smoking and alcohol
relaxation exercises to allay anxiety and stress.
Don't lie down immediately after eating something

If you can provide me more details like your age and presence of any other metabolic illness like diabetes or thyroid and liver disease , I will be able to help you better

In my opinion you should consult a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and X ray chest to rule out hiatus hernia if it does not improve.

Hope this answers your question
Thanks and regards
