Suggest Treatment For Acne And Blood In Stool After Taking Lithium
I ve been on Lithium 300mg×5 daily for the past year an half I feel better although the side effects are HORABLE I ve been on accutane for a year due to the side effect of Major ackeny but then too I hade take fenofibrate 54mg for my triglycerides (side effect of the accutane) daily now I m noticing blood in my stool whats next?
Hi ... It would have been nice if you had mentioned if you had any problem in bowel moments after taking fenofibrate. Fenofibrate can cause constipation that can lead to formation or exacerbation of hemorrhoids. If that is the case, you need to increase the intake of fibres in your diet and consume adequate amount of water daily. Also, I would suggest a gastro enterologist consultation for assessing the severity and ruling out other causes for blood in stools. Hope this helps. Thanks.
