Suggest Treatment For Acne And Dry And Flaky Skin

hi, i have been having problems with my acne, i recently went to a doctor and they put me on a differin gel and a benzoyl peroxide panoxyl it seems to be working but there is still pimples on my face, also my skin is really really dry,flaky and tight. What should i do? i dont even want to go out in public anymore looking like this.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne and dry and flaky skin which occurs when sebum get accumulated along with dead skin and bacteria in clogged pore of sebaceous gland. It occurs because of impaired immunity of body. Need not to worry. You should start with Accutane as it contains isotretinoin and is used to treat severe acne. Exfoliate your skin once a week to remove the dead skin from your face. Drink plenty of water. Take diet rich in fruits , green leafy vegetables and salad.Apply betnovate on acne twice a day for 2-3 days. If condition doesn't start getting better in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotic course clindamycin. You should go for chemical peeling and laser therapy. Apply mashed potatoes on skin.
