Suggest Treatment For Acute Encephalopathy While Having A Cerebral Infarction

I was diagnosed in 1 Apr as having had a Cerebral Infarction. The physician , a local Neurologist also discovered that I have what he called acute encephalopathy. I have made three follow up visits to his office so far; but the FNCP cannot answer my encepathalopathy questions. Is it ethical for a patient to find a different neurologist?
